khunsanuk
Hi, Setting up some hosting for a customer and one of the hosting companies emailed me asking for additional information before they could open the account. Fair enough of course, until I saw what they wanted me to fax them: - a scanned copy of your credit card front and back, and - a government photo ID such as a driving license or passport of the card holder I can't believe they have the balls to ask for this, nor can I believe anyone is stupid enough to send this kind of info. Un-fucking-believable! Sanuk!

khunsanuk
Hi, Very likely, but still a totally insane request. The Ozzie company said they request this from all non-Australian companies, but I would not be surprised if it is only requested for people from certain countries. Regardless, they lost a sale because of this. Sanuk!
