World’s Pilots Reject Naked Body Scanners Over Radiation Danger

Just listened to the full 14 minutes and... hmmm.

In MY opinion someone is either talking crap, or not doing their job properly. Wether or not she was chosen at random or not is irrelevant - she can't prove she was picked on but the way the pat down was done sounds mighty suspect to me (or she was simply talking shit). I do pat downs daily on prisoners, and if I accidentally touched one on the privates my job would be gone. No warnings - sacked and likely charged with assault. "Touching/twisting breasts" is just WRONG and when someone is in such an emotive state (as she claims), to do it all in a public area and using handcuffs to lead her away with 12 cops plus 7 staff is just overkill. To restrain someone who is not either under arrest or incarcerated (or kinky) is simply illegal. We don't use that many people with a 10 foot muscle bound crook who is punching on... As for ripping the airline ticket - that would constitute destroying someone's property and could also lead to charges. On top of that they (allegedly) said she couldn't touch her eyes as she was crying... That gets categorised as being a cunt.

Sorry for the rant but IMO either SHE should be sueing the airport security (especially as she states the airline staff witnessed it all), or (if it's a big porky) the airport should be sueing/charging her.

I love the US but I haven't been there for a few years, if it's come down to this... fark me... Germany 1940's... yep we need to tighten up security but there are ways... and there are human rights... BUT the whole article did sound a bit off to me...

Off to watch some porn now..

I'd be suspicious too ... except that their have been similar complaints from others. She also says they were yelling in SPANISH. Could well be they didn't speak English worth crap and didn't know what she was saying. Nothing like hiring by affirmative action instead of ability.

You should see what they teach us to build.

I was trained in making "field expedient" bombs and booby traps. Amazing what you can do with a few simple items. :D

I've long thought an ex-military engineer could make a really nasty terrorist. I was riding in the countryside some years ago with a retired Army buddy. We passed a water tower and I started talking about the best way to bring it down and what it would take. He laughed and said, "You demo guys are all the same. You're always figuring out how to blow things up." He was right. One EOD staff sergeant I taught at the Ordnance NCO Academy told me he had already planned how to blow up every building on the base. :dunno:

It sounds like she is talking crap. In this day and age, had TSA done something like that, there would be about a dozen iPhone videos of it on the net. Also, as she has not (apparently) made an official complaint, I suspect she cant as the video, and there are likely dozens of cameras in that area, would show her to be full of crap.

Porno sounds good.

At first it sounds like she is describing her own experience. Later she says it hadn't actually happened to her but she'd read about it. Huh?

I think you missed the context of the comment, I believe she was asked if she knew that to be part of the pat down, and she said she had read about it/heard about it, but didn't believe it...er sort of...

There have been tons of similar complaints, some of which are true no doubt. Whether this woman is telling the truth or not is questionable, this "news source" ranks up there with "Fox News" in terms of reliability.

The explosive powder I was researching was stored in a magazine. Somebody deliberatly set a special blasting cap to the explosive and detonated it. [color:red]It was heard by some 160 miles away! This happened in 1881.[/color]
