An uncle on my mom's side said we were owned by a Scottish sugar plantation owner in the early 1800s. Interesting stuff. My great grandmother on my mother's side was very light skinned from what I hear. Died at 106 y.o. in 1972 so born in 1866 if my math is right (and if often isn't). ...some hanky panky went on 'methinks'....hehehe. What's her name?
