There's money in the pocket and time to kill, so let the Mystery Massage Man begin his work! An attractive Thai woman walks out, I take her in and like what I see. Raven-haired, longer than average hair, nicely formed body that’s just the right mix of slender and curves and a pretty enough face. I need no showing to go up the stairs, the downstairs area being for foot massage only save a single massage bed for overspill customers. There are two areas upstairs, one for Thai massage and one for oil massage which are clearly stenciled onto glass doors. http://www.ontheroadthailand.com/Bangkok/Massage%20Happy%20Times%20Bed%201%20Thailand.JPG Inside the oil massage area there’s about three separate booths, all divided by three-quarter walls (not quite up to the ceiling) and solid sliding doors. Inside the first room it’s spartan, but clean and basic. A floor mattress (thin) for massage and a single aircon blasting directly into the room, keeping it cool, but not freezing. A towel was on the mattress and a took off my clothes and donned it, before assuming the lying down position. Set back from the main road and with plenty of promise from the name ‘happy times’ I set off towards it. As I got closer to the massage shop the statue of what resembled one of the semi-mythical courtesans of Indian myth, a good sign I decide. If nothing else they have a good taste in statues. The counter-sign being a grim-looking Thai woman sat outside. She notices me walking up and stops eating her bowel of noodles. As she walks in I get told, in no uncertain terms, to remove my footware. This is a first and I take it they like their hygience, a tick in the box for them on that one. The Mamasan’s attitude isn’t that friendly though, not someone to mess around. Inside it’s got nice plush red carpet, making thoughts of more suggestive doings all the while. The Chinese Shrine that’s facing you shows the owners beliefs, and possibly that prosperity and profit may be not be... Ryder Posted January 4, 2011 Author Report Share Posted January 4, 2011 World Inn Massage Going inside the World Inn Massage was like passing into another zone, the wooden reception on the left, the corridor ahead with a lift seemed a lot different to the outside atmosphere. Here it was a different set-up, you didn’t have a book or waiting room for attention, the girls instead drummed up business in the street outside! There were pretty girls and a few ugly ones too but I had a laser-eye on one from a hundred feet away and my fore-sight hadn’t let me down. As I get closer the young cute and friendly with a slender frame get's prettier. There was no talk of the price initially but I soon found that their prices were 400 baht for oil and 300 for Thai massage. That’s above the rate but for a cute girl such as this one I was willing to go over the rates a little. As we got into the lift a farang joined us, which at first I found unusual and wondered if there was some third party vibe going on. But he got out on the third floor and I realised that this place was a hotel as well as a massage house. Denizens of the hotel rub shoulders with client and massage girl alike.... The massage action takes place on the sixth, upper-most floor and it was here that you take off your footware and enter a room on the right. There’s a fridge here and water is often offered before, after and even during the massage. It’s not plush but nor is it rough and ready either. An open doorway leads outside to the roof where all of Soi 7/1 is revealed... Inside the massage room are three beds, all curtained off, somewhere in the room is a music station that slides out soft easy-listening tunes. The bed is raised with a soft matress and an aircon plus fan cools the room to a near-perfect balance. The usual ritual of the girl leaving while you undress takes place. As usual I was a little on edge as in some massage places the pretty girl you take in with you to the massage area isn’t the one that returns after you’re lying prone. Fortunately this isn’t one of those places and before long the girl, who I learn is called ‘Mouse’, returns. Video to follow... Here's a tip for you: one of the reasons you're having so much trouble with urls is that you are using spaces in them. If you use underscores instead, you'll fix that problem. In other words, in your url change "Sukhumvit Massage World Inn Massage.html" to "Sukhumvit_Massage_World_Inn_Massage.html" Using spaces in urls leads to all sorts of problems. That was 300 baht. Then it was off upstairs for the massage. The beds in here are little more than a padded mat on the floor, for me this isn't a problem, afterall they say that a hard surface is good for the back. The curtain's were all that there was for privacy. For some reason, during most of my reviews, I've been the only one getting a massage so the curtain's haven't been that bothersome. Massage Quality / Style: Smooth and skillful Pros - Skilled massage girls, clean and presentable shop, friendly service Cons - No private shower, privacy upstairs is curtains only Massage Rating - 7 out of 10. The two massage ladies outside were in their 40s but were friendly enough and still fairly easy on the eye. Once inside I settled on a Thai massage (which was 300 baht). As I'd been walking around for a while I was offered the use of the shower prior to the start. The shower was hot-water and shared. All are separated by thin wooden walls that stretch up to about a foot from the ceiling. A solitary airconditioner keeps the place relatively cool. A thin curtain at each booths doorway is all you get for privacy. These are velco'd in place though so privacy is quite good considering. The first two booths (as you enter the shop) have wooden beds. There is also a handy 'alley soi' that you can get to it from the Sugar Cane Bar / V P Massage Lane. From the outside this area has several other massage shops and hair salons nearby. In particular you have the 'Stay Young' Salon / massage shop almost opposite to Oranges. They will heckle and barrack you with the usual cat calls 'You want massage sir?' etc. Inside Oranges Massage: Ignoring them (they are a little OTT) I headed inside Oranges. The Decor is white leather massage chairs downstairs with a nice sofa for visitors to relax on. The teak for both the flooring and the stairs gives it showing of the roots going back several decades. The place has about four massage girls working here. They are from Isaan and for a small massage shop it is laid out using the best of what space they have. I am told it's 300 baht for a thai massage and 300 baht for an oil massage. Going on a gut instinct I ask for her and she happily jumps up to escort me upstairs to where the massage really goes down. Once up the stairs I turn left and there are about 5 separate rooms with lockable doors. My lady escorts me into the central one. I take some time to be impressed with her looks and figure.
