Long Gun
Has anyone been to the new Italian place in the Rembrandt yet, as featured in a previous thread describing Racha, Phiketpete and my miserable failure to get free dinner there? LG PS Off for some free wine and cheese now!

Guest
The Paparazzi Restaurant in the Chateau de Bangkok had some of the best Italian I ever had. They feature a daily antipasti lunch buffet that is a friggin incredible deal for the quality and variety you get. The pasta was obviously made fresh and the sauces were all exquisite. I have eaten at several italian restaurants around Bangkok but this one was the best. It's on Soi Ruam Rudi(the next street after Soi 0) in the Chateau de Bangkok. If you want to do an italian lunch buffet this is the place. Here are some links that have a few blurbs about it. http://www.chateaudebangkok.com/index.html http://www.thailandday.com/RESTAURANT/ITALIAN.htm http://bangkok.thailand.triptool.com/detail/bangkok/_/thailand/190111/
Sarisin
Alfalfa, I agree with you. Have you ever tried Paparazzi's Sunday Brunch? Living in Chateau de Bangkok only two floors above Paparazzi ain't easy, I can tell you. All day long I am assaulted with smells that drive me crazy. Room service is wonderful here! Hmmm, getting pretty close to lunch-time.
Guest
I'm pretty sure that's when we went. What time is the brunch on till? Is the sunday one bigger than on a weekday.
Sarisin
Yes, during the week they have a breakfast which is OK, but nothing special. That ends about 11am. The Sunday Brunch lasts until 2pm I believe and includes much more.
whosyourdaddy
I really enjoy the italian restaurant on the 5th floor of the world trade center. Enjoy the view. They have excellent prices and location. I think it is called something like pizzano give it a try
Sarisin
I don't think there are any restaurants on the 5th floor of the WTC. Most are on the 6th floor although there are some on the 7th as well. And, plenty on the ground floor including one of my favorite Thai restaurants, Vijit. Are you thinking of Pianeta? I think that is the only Italian restaurant in the WTC (except for Pizza Hut and Narai Pizzeria, if those count). If so, Pianeta does have decent food at very good prices. And, there is a great view of the construction across from the WTC. I think that will be the new Big C.
whosyourdaddy
Yes I beleive that is the name. I believe it is on the 5th floor or 6th floor if you are american. Regardless it is worth looking around for it
