Palatkik
Still using FF 3.6.13 without any issues on W7 64 bit and all the add-ons work. Use Chrome form time to time, but cannot get away from my FF add-ons. A faster PC helps.
Boo Radley
The Firefox BarTab add-on is good if you have lots of pages open and a lot of memory usage since it unloads pages in the background. Since installing it Firefox runs a bit smoother. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/bartab/
Redbaron
For what it's worth ... It still happens in "safe mode", there aren't a lot of add ons anyway I am not sure which version of FF I am using but it updates regularly Windows Vista is the OS, (which also updates regularly) but I don't see how it could be that since GChrome works fine Did the speedtest - same results in bit FF and GC, or pretty close. Again, I don't think it's an internet speed problem rather a software glitch The laptop is getting a bit old (nearly 3 years) - maybe a good excuse for an upgrade. Am considering backing up all my crap, totally formatting my hard drives and installing something like Linux.. Would be a good excuse to buy that big external hard drive I've been looking at.
