Flashermac
Not sure how "whitebread" he is, since his real name is Lance Edward Gunderson. Maybe he picked his "stage name" from this guy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Armstrong,_the_All-American_Boy
gobbledonk
Gunderson ? Isnt half the Midwest of Nordic descent ? Anyhoo, Oprah is telling anyone who will listen that Armstrong admitted cheating to her, and there are calls for him to give back sponsor's money. http://www.news.com.au/world/what-is-the-right-punnishment-for-lance-armstrong/story-fndir2ev-1226555198729 How about compensation for his competitors and the revenue they lost while he stood on the dais pocketing checks from the footwear giants ? Coss
What about compensation to me! for the bandwidth that's been lost in my brain by being assaulted by stories and video of the mindless masses' fascination with an egotist in a sport that is after all entertainment, not news or of import. At least Armstrong DID something - he rode a bike - the Kardashian's are famous for being famous. Pathetic.

Apparently that makes one a celebrity these days, provided one has big boobs and a big butt. Interesting that he says he feels it was not possible to win back then without using "enhancement drugs". There seems to have been a lot of it going on at the time.
zzzz
Lance went from being a great champion to a pathetic figure. I feel sorry for him.
