scoobydoo Posted July 12, 2013 Author Report Share Posted July 12, 2013 ha!....sussed it....a right palaver...had to scan till receipt and submit with product id on the device so small I needed a magnifyingglass to read the damn thing....now wait up to 28 days to receive a activation code to submit to the tomtom account I had to create.....through hoops jumping are words springing to mind!!!! First you'll need to install the TomTom software on your PC/Mac. Then connect you TomTom via the docking station to software and then it's no problem to update your maps or purchase additional maps. think_too_mut Posted July 25, 2013 Report Share Posted July 25, 2013 When I bought Garmin GPS at ITCity shop, there was no option to buy hardware only and load maps from elsewhere.
