Guest
Do foreigners accustomed to driving on the wrong side of the road in their home countries, have any difficulty in adjusting to driving on the correct side as here in Thailand.

radioman
I swap driving sides every couple of weeks, have done for years, never a problem provided you possess the level of alertness that anyone driving should have.
Guest
Isn't that confusing for other drivers.
radioman
Since I'm swapping countries, and cars, at the same time it wouldn't seem to be.
Specialist
I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm not quite crazy enough to try to drive in Bangkok traffic. Not when I'm only in town a few weeks a year.
Flashermac
I drove in Bangkok one time ... nuff said! Upcountry isn't so bad, as long as you are a fatalist.
radioman
Having driven on 5 continents and numerous countries I honestly have no difficulty driving in Bangkok, or Thailand in general. Far worse than some places maybe but by no means the worst and at times better than a lot. I'm currently working in Qatar, a mix of dumb as a box of monkeys sub continent types driving anything that will roll and arrogant as heck Arabic types driving the mechanical equivalent of a camel. The horn blowing and jostling for position that accompanies every change of lights makes a drive through Bangkok almost serene.

Indeed you do drive on the correct side, the left side, as we do in the UK
