Crash999
Moolah is very old... I wouldn't really think to use it at all. So is 'bitchin'... It's 80s surfer type slang, like from the movie Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.

Fiery Jack
Fidel, You may or may not have seen me before. My fellow swingers and I reside at 'Mingers' . Check us out, though with a mug like yours, you might be asked to stay. "Moolah" was first used in the US in the 1930s (according to a Big-Bastard Dictionary of American Slang I'm looking at right now...). Might have derived from an old Persian/Turkish/Hindi word "mulla" which meant a powerful and learned scholar so "mulla" = power = money. Nobody's certain. I've never heard it in Britain either, but then again, no one in Britain's got any moolah, none of my friends anyway . j
