In the picture of Soi Nana, there is a Datsun Bluebird 410 going up the soi, manufactured mid 60's. The car parked on the right is a Toyota Corona Mk II, manufactured end 60's into early 70's. (I used to hitch a ride with a friend who used to drive one to camp). Sigh. Sign of old age.

 

Nicknamed "Shovel Nose" I had one, nearly indestructible. I was driving mine near Raymond Terrace in NSA when aged 18, what looks like a straight road is a very subtle bend. It's been changed now. However I took my eyes of the road for a few seconds, as my girlfriend did something,

 

I looked up, hit a medium sized truck, that rolled down the hill, hit the car following it, then I hit a very nice 22ft boat.

 

It was a bit like one of those american movies, and no one hurt!

 

I drove the car after that another 300kms+ to Tamworth area.
