Bargirls......which are most likely hookers. So what does this tell you? Don't look in LOS bars for GTG's. If they were GTG's, they wouldn't be there, would they? Your original post explains why you've decided why you don't want a GTG, and now you're frustrated because you can't find them????????? I'm confused? Want a prostitute? Go to a bar or pub. Want a GTG? Go look anywhere else. 35 million women in LOS. 3-4 % at most are prostitutes, which leaves you around 33,000,000 GTG's in LOS. And you can't find any of them? Maybe it's your approach. I know... and I said in the post, that I was using outrageous stereotypes.color=blue> Perhaps I read your post in a different way than you intended, but I fully agreed with what (I thought) you were saying. Why any Farang would want to marry a GTG is beyond me, for exactly the reasons you state and others. While she might be gorgeous I could imagine few lives that would be as dull. Most of those who do marry a GTG will eventually stray to finding a mia noi or hang out with bar girls. GTGs are fine as housewives and mothers for your children, but they will rarely be enough to keep most men happy. Where many seem to get confused is that the GTG is a stereotype/ideal and not a judgement. If you are a Thai girl you do not have to choose between being a GTG or a hooker. Fortunately the GTG is a dying breed and they are rarer to come across (no pun intended). By definition none of the TGs that post here are GTGs. Since you do speak Thai, have you tried making friends with Thai men? The friendship with Thai men may lead you to get to know some of their friends, families, sisters and increase the possibilities of better understanding of the Thai culture. You may even get a couple buddies to have beer with for Thai men do drink. I do not claim to represent Thai women in general for I am quite a bit westernized and was brought up to do things quite differently than most of the ?normal? Thai women. I do believe in fate though, if it is meant to be, you will find someone you can click with, with right chemistry and all, (I am incurable romantic). I want to meet a girl who I can have a laugh with, who wouldn't mind if I have a drink from time to time, who is interesting etc.. The GTGs that I have almost become involved with are just that... 'GTGs', they want to sit in and watch tv... they think that the most important thing about being a goog GF is to bring you water and food when you need it or to iron your shirts... again readers STEREOTYPE! Finally, someone mentioned going to the bar with my Thai mates... the only Thai males I know socially are the people I work with and my neighbours. The people I work with don't seem to socialise much and my neighbours hang out at cheap and nasty karaoke bars catering towards Thai men, also full of hookers.
