jigger Posted September 9, 2018 Report Posted September 9, 2018 Saw this on Reddit, apparently it means "fresh spring rolls"? (playing around with attaching pix...) 1
Flashermac Posted September 9, 2018 Report Posted September 9, 2018 WTF? Baw Bia sot ... unfried Chinese spring rolls! When tourists get a tattoo ...
radioman Posted September 9, 2018 Report Posted September 9, 2018 Guessing the tattoo guy took one look and thought, ooh nice white and squidgy, just like a fresh spring roll 😂 1
Mekong Posted September 9, 2018 Report Posted September 9, 2018 Reminds me of the time an idiot tourist asked me what the the Thai Script for “Super Stud” was to have it tattooed on his arm, I told him โรคจิต He did have the tattoo and as far as I am aware still has no clue (For non Thai readers Rokcit a slang word for Wanker)
Flashermac Posted September 10, 2018 Report Posted September 10, 2018 Then you've got these idiots ... https://www.tripsavvy.com/respect-the-buddha-in-myanmar-1629608
jigger Posted September 10, 2018 Author Report Posted September 10, 2018 I'd love to know the back-story to this: does she have a clue? Maybe she chose it cause the curly letters look cute? Or did the tattoo artist do it for a laugh? Or to pay her back for being annoying? Her name is Barbara, so she insisted on a transliteration! 1
