But now I live and work here, I understand more about the people, the culture and the country. You are bringing your western notions about sex and are tring to superimpose them on to an alien culture. In Thailand, sex and love are are inseparable from a mans ability to look after a woman - be it on a long or 'short-term' basis. I think your post says considerably more about what don't know about Thailand than what you actually do know. Trying to tell the seasoned expats and repeated visitors that a temporary tourist can get it on for a free quickie with middle-class graduates is laughable.
