pattaya127
in the affordable range, I have consistently had great meals, wonderful red meat or fish prepared with sauce, hors d'oeuvres and desserts yummy, very good and discreet service, consistently every year since i care to remember: Mata Hari (dutch-owned) on 2nd Rd, between soi 7 and soi8. Add up a couple beers and you are still only close to 1000 bahts for a real 3 course meal. Anyone has tried it?
Old Hippie
I always liked Alt Heidelberg (SP) on walking St. Aalso the Russian place near there, decent food, decent prices. A taste of home while away if needed!

Guest
I was introduced to Mata Hari a couple of years ago by P127. I have to agree that given the quality of food, ambience, owner/staff, and attention to detail, this restaurant deserves a top rating. I reckon so.
