Guest
I've always favored a few baht and a small Mehkong to the local fellow in brown to enforce the local no noise ordinance! ::
BelgianBoy
""farang 20 baht, sapparot 30 baht.... and so on." Again, this is not a big deal."" Sarisin, Quite expensive sapparot, no ? As for the noice, TIT, no way to escape I thing, move to a higher floor ? I'm just back from BKK having received the use of an appt on the 20th floor, great, no noice :) Cheers ! Sarisin
Nice suggestion BB, but I am on the fifth floor and my building has only 8 floors with the owner occupying the top two floors. After already making three moves this past year, I really don't care to make another. I really am not bothered a lot by the noise - it comes with the territory I guess and some folks have it far worse than me. BTW, the fireworks are still going strong on my soi. &^$@! Sarisin
Hey, I have to behave myself. I was just given a Divali food basket by my Indian neighbors. Actually, it seems most of the items in it are Dunkin Doughnut holes.
Redbaron
Divali is kicking off in a big way here. Even now (1130am) there are fireworks going off. Doesn't bother me but isn't the idea to let them off at night time.?
