lembeh
Hey limbo I went with the guy I was with when I met you in BK. we were diving with Master Divers (you know the boss, and he knows you). Had a good (girless!) time. Fairly rough weather at times, but a VERY enjoyable time. -j-
limbo
Hi Josh, You were in good hands! The boss is the man tho, that is, when it comes to non girless times! Good to hear you had a good time. Wind is fierce indeed. On Samui as well. Very strong, driving around on the motorbike asks for strong skills at times. What about that speedboat that spent a night at Sail Rock!!?? That doesn't sound too inviting to me.
lembeh
>What about that speedboat that spent a night at Sail Rock!!?? We were diving one afternoon on sail rock and there were 4/5 boats there, one of which was a decent sized speedboat (owned by "crystal" IIRC). We left to head on in to KT, to dive red rock again, IIRC. The speed boat stayed to get in some more dives. The weather turned pretty nasty as we were coming back (even from RR). Anyway, the speed boat did not turn up that evening or night. The story the next day was that they had stayed to long on sail, started to go back and the boat got swamped and sank. The people on board had to swim back to sail rock and spend the night on it till picked up the next day (Bangkok Post had a small article on it in the sunday edition, apparently the Thai Navy did a search and recovery the next day). A night on sail rock would NOT have been fun..... -j-
MadStockBroker
Yeah poor buggers having to spend the night on the rock. That could not have been fun. The diving was well worth the trip but the lack of sluts situation needs to be addressed. Perhaps next time we could take one and pass her around ???? Master Divers has added a small bar overlooking the beach which was a good place to relax and meet up after diving. Called Niterox Bar and I even got a t-shirt ! Belem
The movie, "Open Water," based on the two American divers who were accidently left behind by the dive boat after diving the Great Barrier Reef in 1995, is coming out this weekend in my hometown in America. I'm looking forward to seeing it. http://www.openwatermovie.com/

limbo
Hi Belem, Care to inform us please? Thanks.
Belem
The movie was based on true events(the two American divers in Australia back in 1995 who were never found). A botched head count leaves two American divers out in the open ocean. The movie is an hour and twenty minutes long and was filmed with a digital camera. The setting in this movie is an unmentioned island in the Caribbean. The movie is kind of like an ocean version of "The Blair Witch Project." I think all divers will like this movie.
