Been married once before, to a tough old Aussie bird, who never suffered from it. But my latest love, now my wife. Shit.......a totally different story. If anyone has any idea how to cure this madness, I will sing your praises forever....or at least buy you enough beer to make you fall over when next in LOS! Picture this.......you live with this sweet darling of a girl, who's only stated purpose in life is to make you happy. She is a wonderful cook, an even better lover, and has a cold beer and a few nibblies ready when you get home from work. Bugger me.........she even calls you at work most afternoons, to ask what you would like for dinner, and rolls off the suggested menu for the evening. Life doesn't get any better than this I can tell you. What was it another poster was writing about? 'fantasies'. man....I don't even have to ask! Then it happens...............about once a month. It just rises up and scares the shit out of you. You can be talking about something quite meaningless, what's on TV, what will we do this weekend...and suddenly the sweet princess puts her 'devil head' on! Some careless, quite innocent remark, is fired back at you with such venom it stuns you. "Where the fuck did that come from"? you think. You then spend the next 2-3 hours sweet talking this thing from "the Exorcist" until gradually the 'beast' departs and your sweet princess returns, apologising for being such a bitch tonight. So what brings on this scary change...........the full moon?........a bad prawn in the Tom Yum Goong? No......it's the time of the month alright, but it's about 2 days before her period starts. Every month like clockwork! Man this is no joke. Please someone tell me that there is a pill for it!! Yours Sid. I bet, if given a choice between anti-PMS for her or Viagra for him, many men would prefer to give her the anti-PMS pill. I always feel like I'm just clinging to a small life-raft during a hurricane when the PMS storm strikes. It is predictable, at least. However, it does NOT help to point out to her that her period is 2-3 days away and that whatever she is crying/yelling about today will become meaningless then. Quite simple, there is no PMS! Doctors have said so! Odd is even women who take pills to stop their perriod still try to use PMS as a defense. I have seen it used in work situations when a man would be fired, the broad whips out the old PMS defense and keeps her job. A few years back, a woman murdered her husband and tried to use PMS as a defense, damned near worked...Bottom line, be tough, be firm, and don't take any shit about it. This is her problem to deal with, and there is no excuse to make you miserable! If all else fails, tell her you will walk if she doesn't knock it off! My last live in tried this PMS shit, threw things, slapped, moods the whole sha bang. Then one day I got tough, and yelled back, threatened to slap/throw things etc...it stopped! One night she tried it again and I threw her ass out! Been alone ever since, true, depressing at times, but at least I don't have to whine about PMS! Draw the line early on, and stand tough, this is a psychological condition, physical symptoms might be her fault as well do to her exercise, diet etc...you have to stand tough on this guys, or she will push harder and further...No excuse for this behavior...to the guy who suggested pregnancy as a cure, no way, they are really playing the maryter game when they are pregnant! They cry "...oh you don't understand..." scream back, "...no, I don't, and I don't care either, you have no idea what it is like to not get sex off your wife when she's in a mood either, so we both have our crosses to bear...Now shut up and make me something to eat..." I'm telling you, it is the only way to beat this problem. You never hear of Taliban woman acting like this do you? A firm hand is all it takes! Since 27 months I live with the most sweetest, lovely tg you ever could imagine, sounds same you have. But then suddenly she bitches for no apparent reason. And that means SHOUTING at me. I hate being shouted at. It has nothing to do with PMS, it happens from time to time and just this morning. I shouted back and she apologised. I remember her I don't take shouting. As OH states (don't like the Taliban reference though....) such behaviour is unacceptable and a breaking point where our relationship might come to an end. Yes it is a limit not to tresspass. I do wonder if this has something to do with the Thai education system or some part of thai society. I do know my gf was educated by poor parents living in a hut. Conditions of life were harsh and she got beaten-up and shouted at, even life threatened if the buffallo under her care would die.
