Bars Open Mon May 19th Visakha Bucha Day â?? Bars Shut Tue July 1st Mid Year Closing Day â?? Bars Open Thu July 17th Asanha Bucha Day â?? Bars Shut Fri July 18th Khao Phansa Day - Buddhist Lent â?? Bars Shut Tue August 12th H.M. the Queen's Birthday â?? Bars Probably Open Tue October 14th Awk Phansa Day - End of Buddhist Lent â?? Bars Open Thu October 23rd Chulalongkorn Day â?? samak Posted January 26, 2008 Report Share Posted January 26, 2008 chinese new year starts already on 6. february but it is not a public holiday. just some companies of owners with chineses anchestors will shut down for 3-4 days... i doubt if end of buddhist lent (awk phansa) is a public holiday!?
