CTO
Choice of three, Down Under Bar, Soi 23, opposite Fish and Chips shop and Siamese twins bar. Shortish walk from BTS or underground. Seems to have a good but greasy menu. Old Dutch, corner Soi 23 and Cowboy, same area. Good menu, better food than before. Dubliner, at entrance to Washington Square, opposite Soi 33, a longer walk than the other two, better food, more expensive. Poll closes Wednesday, Friday I'll see you at . . . . . . CTO
People stopped going, many times no one showed. One reason is the locals, who make a core group for the meetings, didn't like Gullivers much, So from the poll you can see majority didn't want to go there. Flashermac
I stopped going because 1) I moved farther away and 2) I finish work too late to get there easily. Doesn't really matter where the meetings are for both of those reasons.
Julian2
If the Old Dutch wins and you change the date to Wednesday the opportunity to meet a better class of woman presents itself. The Writing Women of Bangkok.

dddave
If DOWNUNDER BAR is the selection, somebody will have to explain the arcane rules of Cricket to us Yanks, as that seemingly incomprehensible game is on the big screen 90% of the time. CTO
No - but it has a upper floor. Now if we had a marketing man amongst us who cold ask both places for a Discount or a special deal, that would be cool! Mark has offered us a corner spot, but that will be a place we drift too, I think beer at Down Under is cheaper but I could be wrong.
