Shibuya
My missus is in effing agony with a couple of broken teeth. I know there are a lot of private dentists for us falangs, but there are "public" dentists at much more reasonable rates for Thais, i am told... Alas she doesny know any more than that Can anyone shed some light on this and where we can go? she's in agony Live in Pratunam, btw thanks for any help offered
cardinalblue
Try the the School of Dentistry at the main Public Universities. I am thinking about Chula and Mahidol as they would have clinics but there's probably another public dentistry school or big public teaching facility/hospital closer to where you live. Not sure.. allistar
I've seen all the Astin Powers movies. Is that the truth or a stereotype, like Thais don't see dentists?
cardinalblue
I would think it is just the opposite..They probably do go to the dentist more but overwhelmed by genetics... See, in this case nature over nurture wins... CB
TheCorinthian
In the UK, at least until about maybe 15 years ago, it was not bad teeth as in rotten, it was bad as in not straight. The UK did not have or really just not see the need for orthodontics like in the US. I dont know why. With out the vast number, and I mean everyone in my grade school including me, wearing braces for about 2 to 5 years, people in the US would have horrible looking teeth just like in the UK.
