Trying to make yourself look clever and make a complete tool of oneself. There is not a limit. For example Miss Nat in February only managed to pull in 5 short times but in March she got 15, so the rise between February and March was 200% and March total was 300% of February. Just as you can have an improper fraction (a fraction where the numerator is greater then the denominator) such as 5/4 it is also possible to have improper percentages, in this case 125% There instances where percentages greater than 100% make no sense such as "I ate 125% of the cake" since a cake is one entity who's sum of its whole is equal to 100% but there is no hard and fast rule. Now in Radioman's example one could take the assimilation of 100% to mean the average, so Miss 5% assimilated 1/20 of the average whereas Miss 105% assimilated at 21/20 of the average i.e. slightly above average, Capice? Are you a babe in arms? And DO I HAVE TO EDUCATE YOU IN THE RUDIMENTS OF MATHEMATICS? YOU SHOULD FEEL SERIOUSLY ASHAMED OF YOURSELF

W Just like my mantra, there is music that I appreciate and music that others appreciate, the fact that I don't appreciate certain genres of music does not detract from its appeal to others. Top Tune Senegal meets USA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqCpjFMvz-k

I missed this one, such a low profile artist one only sees his obituary in the Sunday Supplements. Daevid Allen aka Divided Alien. A Musician born in Australia, moved to the UK and was part of Soft Machine but then went off the Radar when he formed an Anarchic Psychedelic Space Rock Group "Planet Gong" in the mid 70's. The Mid 70's coincided with post pubic, narcotic experimentation phase of a young Mekong who even back then was a shite musician. Gong used to play the summer festivals up in the moors, no nothing like today's Glastonbury these were real festivals, a big top, camp fire mushies, acid and weed miles away from humanity up in th'ills, a weekend away from the drudgery of being a grammar school scholar. http://www.theguardian.com/music/2015/mar/13/gong-founder-daevid-allen-has-died-aged-77

PM So many options For a start there is now so much free content on youtube that could keep you going for a decade, not just music but documentaries, movies, historical sports events, TV series etc etc, if it has been on TV it is available on youtube. Mirroring not sure what laptop you use but las I knew you had an iPad, you can link any Apple device to Apple TV via wireless network, so basically anything you have on your device can be replicated onto main TV wirelessly be it Torrented Movies, Live TV Content, Skype, games or even basic web pages etc. (Plus accessing content from my Time Capsule in Bangkok) That may not sound thrilling but then again you are based in BKK, for me out here in rural Vietnam it is a godsend, most of Thai TV is available real time online, Mrs Kong logs onto Thai TV mirrors it through the main TV and Voila she is watching the same TV in the province as she would be watching if back home in Bangkok, it keeps her sane when I am at work, keep the wife happy and we get simple life. Subscription services (if required) Netflix and HBO, personally I don't subscribe to content which is probably available elsewhere within 7 days of original broadcast for free, all I need live are sporting events and with 2-3 VPN's and a bookmark listing of many streaming sites I am able to view 90% of sporting events I wish to see real time, which are not available on local TV, via mirroring on the big screen. IMHO Apple TV is not much of an addition to ones Media Centre if permanently "Home Based" but conversely, if like myself, one spends 85% of the year nomadic away from home then it comes into its own Cheers Kong

Free bassist Andy Fraser dies at 62 Bassist Andy Fraser, who co-wrote Free's 1970 hit All Right Now, has died in California aged 62. The musician died on Monday and he had been fighting cancer and Aids, according to an official statement regarding his death. The Riverside County coroner said the cause of death was not yet known and remains under investigation. The London-born musician became a founding member of the British group when he was just 15. He wrote most of the his material with Free lead singer Paul Rodgers, who went on to front bands Bad Company and The Firm. "A survivor of both cancer and Aids, Andy was a strong social activist and defender of individual human rights," the statement read. "He leaves behind his daughters Hannah and Jasmine Fraser, and their mother Ri, his sister Gail, brothers Gavin and Alex, and many friends and associates in the industry." Among those paying tributes to the bassist was Kiss's Paul Stanley, who said: "RIP Andy Fraser - Free's iconic bass player and writer of Alright Now and others. He battled cancer and AIDS. A loss." British rock singer Michael Des Barres called him "one of RnR's most creative, soulful bass players. An activist and humanitarian. Rock in Peace". BBC Radio 2 DJ Bob Harris tweeted: "More sad news. Too many are passing." All Right Now was Free's biggest hit, peaking at number two in the UK singles chart and number four in the US. The song was recognised by the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers in 1990 for achieving over a million radio plays. In 2006, Fraser and Free singer Paul Rodgers were honoured by the BMI in London to mark three million radio and television plays of All Right Now in the UK. According to an interview with Free drummer Simon Kirke, the song was written "after a bad gig in Durham". He said: "It was obvious that we needed a rocker to close our shows. All of a sudden the inspiration struck Fraser and he started bopping around singing All Right Now. He sat down and wrote it right there in the dressing room. It couldn't have taken more than 10 minutes." http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-31937608

The Imitation Game 2014 The true story of Alan Turing, it took over 60 years for the full truth to come out, fascinating insight into the life of a man which has shrouded by the official secrets act for so long well worth a watch even if not a numbers geek such as I It's hard to believe that in this day and age he was only granted a Royal Pardon as near back as December 2013 The movie title comes from the original "Turing Test" "Are there imaginable digital computers which would do well in the imitation game?"
