Hi, I can easily turn that around Customer: "I need to buy this program for our company, but I also need it to do xxx, yyy and zzz. Does it do that?" Sales person (without asking anyone and without knowing anything): "Sure, no problem. Just sign here." Engineer to sales person: "It doesn't do that and adding it will take 3 months." Sales person to engineer: "Well, the customer has already signed so just do it." "You need a combination of a good sales/marketing person and even better engineers/software developers." No argument there. The biggest problem I see is that neither of the groups really know what the other does. However, it is *inevitably* the engineers that get the shit *after* the sales person has already gotten his commission for making a sales based on promises he himself doesn't have to keep. "Whether or not it was possible was neither here nor there." Bingo! And who gets to fulfill those promises or get shat upon if they are not met? The sales person who made them? Yeah, right! Sanuk!

Hi, Fully agree. No offense to any marketing people on this board, but it has been my experience that almost all of them are totally full of shit. Always making promises to clients that the techies then get to keep and of course become responsible for. Sanuk!

I missed the "let's build some crazy contraption to deal with this" part that was usually in the series, but all in all I thought it was quite a decent movie. I actually tried watching an episode of the original series a year ago; couldn't do it. It had not stood the test of time at all. Switched channels after less than 5 minutes. Sanuk!

Hi, Recently saw: Splice - A lot like species. Not that great though. The A-Team - Rather enjoyed this one. Brought back childhood memories of watching the series Predators - Just another cash-in of the original Predator. Not very good. Prince of Persia - Movie of the games. Enjoyed this very much. Lots of cool effects. Robin Hood (latest one) - Enjoyed this immensely as well. Still to watch: - Toy Story 3 - Animal Kingdom - How to train your dragon - Machete Sanuk!
