  1. Any geeks this article is highly recommended https://youtubetranscriptoptimizer.com/blog/05_the_short_case_for_nvda NVIDIA's dominance in AI infrastructure—driven by its near-monopoly on high-margin GPUs, exploding demand for AI training/inference, and transformative applications like humanoid robots—faces underappreciated risks: data scarcity limits training-scale growth, algorithmic efficiency (e.g., DeepSeek’s R1) and in-house chips from Big Tech threaten hardware reliance, while unsustainable capex and rapid GPU obsolescence risk margin erosion.** Though AI’s long-term potential is undeniable, Nvidia’s sky-high valuation overlooks these headwinds, leaving the stock vulnerable as markets eventually price in the reality that compute demand may plateau or fragment, challenging its stranglehold on the AI gold rush. Or Oh, sure, NVIDIA's "dominance" is totally unassailable. I mean, who could possibly challenge their... checks notes ...near-monopoly? It's not like anyone's working on, say, more efficient algorithms or anything. And data scarcity? Please! We've got infinite data! Training scale can grow forever! Humanoid robots? They're buying GPUs hand over fist! (Ignoring, of course, the fact that they're still mostly falling over). And those "risks" everyone's so worried about? Please. Big Tech making their own chips? A minor inconvenience. Unsustainable capex and rapid GPU obsolescence? Just a flea bite on their otherwise perfect margins. Who needs profitability when you have hype? So, yes, NVIDIA's valuation is completely justified. It's not like the market is ever wrong or prone to, you know, reality checks. The idea that compute demand might plateau or, gasp, fragment? Preposterous! NVIDIA's stranglehold on the AI "gold rush" (because that's not a slightly overused metaphor) is guaranteed to last forever. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go buy some more shares before they go even higher! (Don't worry, I'll be totally surprised if they don't).
  2. Also I managed to get DeepSeek to talk about all the things the media said it won't. Hmmmm Media USA controlled much?
  3. I've used it quite a bit, works well I like how it shows its processes then gives citations. OH what would China do? USA bombs the fuck out of everyone China hasn't invaded anyone for decades, did it once and does t have a history to repeat
  4. Seems they quoted the UK police <<Detectives initially believed she had died of natural causes but a cold case team announced in 2018 that Lamduan was murdered.>> https://www.theguardian.com/world/2025/jan/25/thai-police-detain-british-husband-of-thai-woman-found-dead-in-yorkshire-dales

  7. https://www.npr.org/2020/06/12/875000650/pressure-grows-on-joe-biden-to-pick-a-black-woman-as-his-running-mate It was more about getting elected than doing the right thing by Biden He felt have a black woman would help his chances of winning, It wasn't because he was particularly nice about black women. All about strategy How the fuck did USA politics enter this thread?
  8. Well done taking a cold case and running with it. You'd be hoping the Thais and Brit police would be looking at any other .issuing women who may have been involved with him. Clearly a bit of a nutter
  9. Except everyone got the day off on the Monday. The irony being it's all about change the date and this year the day off is changed. Anyway, at least the weather is better today
  10. Same, but here it's very ironic because there's always this big debate about changing the date, which by the way has been changed many times, but this year because it fell on a Sunday, the "day" is on Monday. So the day got changed. Now my point is, if your hard core DONT CHANGE THE DATE Are you at work today?
  11. In case you hadn't noticed, Australia Day is Jan 26 However this year we are all celebrating it on Jan 27 Jan 27 is the Public Holiday
  12. Why not build up traffic on it to make it more desirable?
  13. Board like this shouldn't notice any performance trade off. Toouch luggage being carried. All the good stuff.
  14. Depends on the time of the day, by 10am it was much clearer. It's mostly mornings that are shyte
  15. Irony being that the date this year has changed but no one seems to have noticed
  16. While you don't travel much anymore Mr Mekong if you subscribe to a Thai account and travel overseas you can use it overseas at that lower rate. Same goes for Google services like photo storage. Advantage being you can live somewhere else but pay Thai prices.

Mate of mine is having a retrospective at a major public gallery of 50 years of his photography, many of his current images taken on a phone and collected by big galleries. There is a new Ghana restaurant in Bangkok which is quite like. The owner supports boxing hence how I found him. Great food, nice people not associated or near Sukhumvit.
  19. <<Blanca Ojanguren García, a law and international relations student at Spain’s University of Navarra, was washing the ‘panic-stricken’ elephant when it suddenly pushed her with its tusk, causing her to fall and strike her head. She was rushed to hospital but was unable to recover from her injuries.>> I've found the more touristy places the elephants seem more at ease with people than the wild life rescue places which this place seemed to be.
  20. Some of the world's first gay porn was done with a brownie
  21. Also you can't ignore a moderator a feature I think you should be able too.
  22. Thai galleries often charge a much higher commission than Australian ones. A problem that international artists need to be aware of. Currently my fav artist after Vasan is Chompol Wan who during the coup fearlessly pushed the limit with some great paintings both political and funny https://www.facebook.com/chumpol.wan.1?mibextid=ZbWKwL
  23. That was her! Great night. Truely amazing dancer.
