  1. You are absolutely correct. My guess is 4 pre-cast panels placed on an structural steel support which was not designed to cater not only the lowest common denominator in Thai society but their construction industry in general πŸ˜„
  2. This shot clearly shows the concrete didn't collapse but the support. Seems like it was 2 separate panels on a steel frame. Total engineering fail.
  3. The Actually I was referring to the road My argument solid as
  4. Basically, without waffling, it's only as strong as it weakest point 😊
  5. Any comment from Chadchart? Are him and Somchai friends?
  6. Doesn't need to be a solid surface to be fit for purpose. Like I said more an engineering fail. As for the slab/slabs for it to fold in that way as a single slab it would indicate a lack of, or complete absence of any reinforcement, again an engineering fail. So again the point I am making is the concrete didn't fail the application did. Wonder who, if anyone signed off on the works 😊
  7. OK think of this way. Lay a piece of wood between 2 bricks and jump on it. It breaks. Lay that same piece of wood on a solid surface and nothing happens. Had the slab been supported equally and continuously or sufficiently that would never have happened. More of an engineering fail than the concrete. Also looking at it but couldn't be sure, it looks like 2 separate slabs. The fold appears to be a joint.
  8. Appears the slab didn't fail the road base (support) did.
  9. Never caught it. 3 jabs plenty of times had symptoms but tested negative. I even worked on a project for several months where the client was a medical supplier and we had to test daily before entering site.
  10. If you haven't watched it I highly recommend it. It will put that review into context
  11. I think you'll find that's Last Stop Larramah. I watched it on Netflix just uploaded the Trailer from Yobtube
  12. That pic reminds me of all the dramas once over hijacking threads with pics like the one below. I even think some members left the board
  13. Bit of a theme going there πŸ™„ I'm sure Ben's not a big fan of him πŸ˜‹
  14. Last Stop Larrimah Set in the Australian Outback, in a tiny town with a population of 11 until one is murdered with everyone a suspect. As one review put it, "The best advertisement for using sunscreen I've ever seen."
  15. Most of them home made and regularly misfire injuring anyone either holding it or close by. They still get to carry their cane knives though
  16. Never watched the show. Nothing wrong with high beam.
  17. I remember that story. They obviously didn't declare it on their inbound card.. While I was working in Lae there was an incident where a father ate his infant son in front of anyone who cared to watch in the middle of the marketplace.. Think I still have the story or link somewhere. Oddly the marketplace was where a lot of the crazy stuff happened. Like the unfortunate fella who got court steeling food so the held him down and chopped his arm off with a cane knife.
  18. Spent 3 months working in the Highlands. Never again. These people are primitive. I saw one tribal battle in Port Moresby near Erima along the river on the way to the airport. Never seen anything so terrifying in my life. Brutal.
  19. Put Eddie Vedder, Johnny Marr, 2/5 of Radiohead and Neil Finn together on stage and this is what you get
