limbo
Tong Chai (aka Bird) is great, I love the latest CD and the live concert Cd as well. Furthermore I've got stuff by Loso, Labanoon, Leo Put, Jinthara Poomlarb, Thai Tannawut and a few more.
Zaad
I like Bird. Good singer. I also like this young girl, about 20 years of age, called 'Aon'. Cute face and a nice voice. Loso is OK. I like Thai songs in general. Could be because the words have a nice sound and/or because I have no clue what most singers are singing about. Sometimes I feel like an idiot listening to music which I have almost no idea what is about. I like Carabao, listen to them almost daily and have most of their albums. Labanoon, Peter, Palmy, Nui Nuntakarn, Silly fools is music I like. I was rather disappointed in Labanoons last album, the 2 previous ones were so much better. Cheers! limbo
Hi CBK, you're right, Labanoons latest album was not that great, All love songs now. Saw them live recently and wasn't impressed neither, the sounds was so muffled, I've never heard a live band that quiet and it didn't do the songs any good. limbo
NTG, if we can move this thread to arts & culture, I'm sure that Thai3 will join this very quickly. I'm not sure if he ever checks here. He IS the man that knows about Thai music.
