You've got to get your brain out of the rut. Try building a mental fantasy life that's a safe non-confrontational place you can retreat into as a change of pace to your normal day. Can be anything you like. Sci-fi, fantasy, victorian era novels, old japan or whatever, just make it fluff that's different from your ordinary day.
