dsab Posted May 20, 2003 Author Report Share Posted May 20, 2003 Sorry for getting back this late. We were on Holiday in Europe for while, and didn't check the board much. The money is gone. Thanks to our efforts the bank found out that the cheque belonged to a big "Hotel" in BKK, which has a very similar Account Number. In a way I am happy that it is over. But as we found out, if we hadn't informed the bank, the Hotel would probably never have found the money. But there was even something in for us. The hotel presented us with a hotel-voucher for 3 nights, which we will use for our upcoming Japan-Trip. So that's not too bad....
