ALHOLK
Hi! I flew with them to BKK in 1993. I had a small cash flow problem at the time and saved about 50 USD compared to Aeroflot . Aeroflot compared to them was a wonder of efficiency and service. If they had exchanged the flight attendants for lobotomized monkeys the level of service would have risen drastically. The airport in Sofia wasn't even a pathetic joke. regards ALHOLK
Khun_Kong
Says gene1944: You probably won't be too interested----- but last week I noticed that Thai Air has a food center stand in the downstairs floor of Seri Center near Seacon Square. They were serving the boxed sandwiches and other stuff you get on flights. Now you don't have to fly to enjoy the cuisine. :: Leftovers? 2nd day meals? Again, we need the reverse peristalsis graemlin.
bangkokbutcher
Awwww Aholk, you had to go and remind me about that shit hole of a padded cell, ooops sorry Sofia airport, didn't you. What a sore memory...
bangkokbutcher
Well that's a damn shame jp, coz I will be one of many (I'm sure) that will miss their flights to BKK dearly - NOT NOT NOT

bangkokbutcher
It must be quiet there, coz I couln't even find the damn place. I ended up having to get a rowing boat back to Nong Khai and upon my return to LOS I was arrested for not having my visa stamped - oh well theres goes another 500 baht bill down the drain. ::
chilli13
LOL you gotta be kidding me? rowing boat - well it being Laos & all I wouldn't be surpriced if that would be feasable For next times the socalled airport is a bit north of town
lopburi3
ever been to Vientiane, Laos intl. airport Too many times. Also around and about the "vertical runway" (that arch downtown was built with funds for a new runway as I recall).
