Guest Posted May 26, 2003 Report Share Posted May 26, 2003 What I miss most are the intangibles: a place where people have rights, due process means something, property rights and contractual obligations are respected, you can say what you think, and the press is genuinely free. A place where I am not charged more and barred from owning property or running a wide range of businesses simply because I am a Farang; a place where hypocrisy isn't the norm and corruption doesn?t reign supreme.
