Nice attempt at this, but there is no way you could have put all the choices up there. Also, best hotel as in...?

Anyway, the Oriental is normally mentioned when you talk about the best hotel in Thailand, and, certainly one of the best in the world. I have eaten there, but never stayed there.

The best I have stayed in (before I moved here permanently) is The Regent Bangkok. I still go there often to eat, but I do not stay there. I eat in three of their restaurants (Biscotti's, The Madison, and Spice Market) and I love all three.

The Nana???? :banghead:

another Torney Poll where many best Alternatives are missing like:

Amanpuri Phuket (number one on Phuket)

Santiburi Resort, Ko Samui (number two on Ko Samui)

Panviman Resort, Ko chang (number one on Ko Chang)

Royal Cliff, Pattaya

Peninsula, BKK

Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, BKK

The Regent, BKK

etc.

etc.

etc.

:neener:

I dont think that I ever paid more than 500 bht. for a hotel, so I could probably not even come close to any of these places you mention.

But sure would like to try out the Dusit Rayavadee in Railey, Krabi. Sure looks great.

Cheers
