Hidy Ho
Anyone have recommedation/information for physical therapy in BKK? I need someone who can help me with flexibility/stretching and exercise/strengthening. My body is fucked up due to my laziness and ankylosing spondylitis. lopburi3
Any general hospital should have a physical therapy department but be aware that some would rather do than teach (but being lazy and the low cost that might be a plus).
whosyourdaddy
A freind of mine is head of Physio theropy at Bumrungrad. She definately runs a tight ship there and would get the service you require.. She is western educated and has a clue about management as far as I am concerned

Sarisin
I absolutely agree with OH here. I had a rotator cuff tear (old pitching injury re-aggravated by weight-lifting) and I went to see an orthopedic surgeon at BNH based on a referral by my 'company' doctor. I had two consultations with him and he decided to go with physical therapy rather than surgery. For 30 straight days I spent 2-3 hours a day in the physical therapy section (headed then by a nice lady doctor who worked before in Reading, PA) receiving massage, ultrasound, doing exercises, etc. Before the therapy I couldn't reach for my wallet in my back pocket. After it I was fine. The most incredible thing was the cost. The total (doctor and therapy) was around $400 and my stateside insurance covered most of it. Having said all this, I am sold on Bumrungrad Hospital now based on recent experiences there and I bet they have equally as good care and costs.
