BelgianBoy
Jimmie, Yep, GF also reconfirms that the TG package is including qualifying miles, I asked her to have that in writing from travelagent and TG Package is also not that cheap, 3 days / 2 nights with hotel & ABF and a citytour at 8K Bt each. As for free fares and still getting the miles, you are kidding, right ? Cheers !
Nervous_Dog
The best deal is with Swiss air - 5500 including two nights - but no points However it is true I got points on my free trip - I think they fucked up but I say NOTHINK!
BelgianBoy
Jimmie, Good on you But the Swiss can go f*** themselves as they bankrupted Sabena, they are on my blacklist Cheers !
Tycona
Hey BB. You could do a domestic flight. They are cheaper and accumulate 500 miles per flight per person. 625 miles for Business Class... Flights to Chiang Mai would be cheapest I reckon. So 4 x 500 = 2000 or 2 x 625 = 1250 ::
thalenoi
Remember BB needs 1165 miles, and you can not claim the miles from your gf boarding pass.....500 miles domestic is not enough I would think....
BelgianBoy
Tycona, Good to say you again here and thanks for the suggestion....... I cannot trace the mileage from BKK to Chiang Mai, should it be the min 500 miles ? If yes, then in business 500 x 125 % = 625 x return = 1250 miles, and 'only' 1165 needed. Will have the GF investigate prices and possibilities Cheers !
Saiphon
Yes they will give you the minimum 500 miles - this is true for all internal flights unless they are greater than 500 mile, in which case you get the actual mileage (e.g. Chiangmai to Phuket)
Tycona
Is there a domestic destination that is more than 500 miles actual distance? Phuket and Chiang Mai are not, I have flown there and only got 500. Dont know if there still is the flight from Chaing Mai to Phuket, that would have to be more than 500 miles and from BKK maybe only to Hat Yai.... ::
samak
from Bangkok, longest distance is Hat Yai with 482 miles; however Chiang Mai Phuket is 738 miles
Cyborg
You get 600 for BKK to Krabi.
