limbo
Hi LHL, can't debate taste, but I do like a good couscous as well. Had a few good one in France.
Guest
Don't really mind the taste. Just the texture.
Guest
Life's too short to have just one favorite. *** Very true Brink! For me it's something like this depending on the day: Ootoro sushi (very fatty tuna) chutori sushi (fatty tuna) negitoro hosomaki (tuna roll with green onions) lobster sashimi fresh oysters clams with garlic and wine Kobe beef Angus beef Yakiniku roast turkey roast lamb roast beef... Getting hungry... and fat!

torrenova
Yes, you fat bastard ! For Japanese, I'm more into sashimi than sushi, depends upon the rice in my opinion. If it is not too "vinegary" then OK. Got more and more into tuna over the years but love white fish sashimi - turbot, fugu etc. In the Japanese mountains (Nagano prefecture), a summer carp sashimi is very good too. Cooked Japanese food: I love shabu-shabu too and am rather partial to the fried head of the yellowtail. Other nationalities: Italian, Turkish, Vietnamese and French.
