In burger king, sit down, there is a newspaper i see. A waitress comes picks it up to throw away, i say:

 

"doo dai mai?" (indicating the newspaper) Had to say it twice, she apparently didn't understand. What would be better to say?

 

Perhaps: "Dio, doo gone dai mai, khap?" ???

Probably wasn't expecting a falang to speak Thai and couldn't get her head around the possibility that some falang can speak Thai to a certain extent. You get that.

how will Thais interpret "dek tio"?, as in to refer or call someone a "dek tio".

 

"hua laan", i know what it means, but don't know why thais feel a need to tell u? And always with a big laugh. Yes, ha ha, good one shit for brains.
