Guest
In burger king, sit down, there is a newspaper i see. A waitress comes picks it up to throw away, i say: "doo dai mai?" (indicating the newspaper) Had to say it twice, she apparently didn't understand. What would be better to say? Perhaps: "Dio, doo gone dai mai, khap?" ??? Probably wasn't expecting a falang to speak Thai and couldn't get her head around the possibility that some falang can speak Thai to a certain extent. You get that. Guest
But using "doo" only, means looking at it, which I suppose you did, as you noitced the newspaper laying there. Better to say "Khor aan doo noi Khrap"
