EC Draw

the racial aspect in the Dutch team is a long standing thing.

in one Tournament(Euro 96 of WC 98)it resulted in at least 1 Dutch player,Davids i think being sent home.

but i think there were 3 sent home in the end.

the inter-club rivalry had a sinilar set up in the England squad, not that anyone was admitting it.

Liverpool and MU were the main ones involved, not mixing together like sitting at separate tables when eating and suchlike.

some say things are better know, but others say nothing has changed.

[color:"orange"] Hi Steve,

As Sayjann points out, the racial rivalry has been going on since a while.

Davids was indeed sent home, beacause he said that the coach should take his shead out of the some players asses.

The racial thing came up with the so called cable, dicussed not so long ago in another thread here.

Basically it's the old Ajax line up that won the EC I, Kluivert making the winning goal on a Rijkaard pass(the same Rijkaard that dropped him from 1st team football at Barca).

Those black players form the cabel, all through the ax of the field, Kluivert, Davids, Seedorf, Reiziger, I guess that's them.

Here also stems the club rivalry, although that was more of a refresher, sicne this one goes back way when.

Now it';s about the midfield,(ex) Ajax or PSV. [/color]
