Damen Posted December 17, 2003 Report Share Posted December 17, 2003 I stayed at the Marriott and the Hardrock during my visit to Pattaya last year. No joiner fee's at either place. The Hardrock consistently asked for ID's while the Marriott only asked on occassion. The Hardrock has a much better pool. More of a party type atmosphere but the Marriott has much better rooms. Lusty Posted December 18, 2003 Report Share Posted December 18, 2003 Of greater concern is the upscale nature of the resort, and the fact that you tend to stand out like a sore thumb if you are seen wandering through the lobby with a BG. I stayed at the Thai Garden resort on my very 1st trip to Pattaya.Mainly farange honey mooners.It was great walking past them all around the resort pool with 2 bg's in tow every morning,some realy dirty looks from the falange women. The LEK buffet breakfast and dinner up street. They all allow girls. I have never been asked for anything. Some places do check ID's for girls. But don't stop them.
