I think Mangos are grow only as far north as (somewhere) Mexico, could be wrong. A drive up or down I-5 through the "grape vine" or the central San Jaquin valley will show all sorts of stuff grown here, even kiwi fruit (grown on the coast) and Pistachios, and olives, lots on non indiginous stuff grown here...
