Palatkik
This Fridays Farang Affairs column in the Nation have already parted with their 12USD for the new Trink site out of curiosity and now apparently want it back.! http://www.nationmultimedia.com/page.news.php3?clid=12&theme=A&usrsess=1&id=106555
elef
Hi Palatkik, first time ever I read Phil Macdonalds column. IMO even the old Bernard Trink is better. And actually this article is promoting Trinks website, even a link is included. elef

God knows why, because once you've read it you have even less of an incentive to subscribe. It's shite! Come on BT... Register yourself as a charity, then we can all send you 10,000 baht a year and we can claim it as a tax deduction.. ::
chilli13
actually it appears the nation boys paid the $12 to get a peek at the first independent 'nite owl' last friday as you said the free view was not allowed untill tuesday right now looking at the bkk post & their realtime nightlife roundup 'post trunk' we have a nice roundup of many of the irish pubs as well as a few lines on the MOS turning into Double O they do NOT seem to miss trink... Guest
Trink should try opening up an online store for Burma Shave on his site. Bring it back to life just like the online stores for space food sticks astronauts used in the 60's!
khunsanuk
Hi, Well, met the guys behind the Trink site and I can confirm that it is legit. Had a nice, and interesting, talk with them as well, btw. Sanuk!
Guest
I also think Trink could easily get a few bar ads, etc. Not so sure it is smart to charge money. I would think with his name right now advertising is the way to go.
Chanchao
Not sure if you've seen this particular Trink parody, but it's a spot on one.. ***The Tripe Page*** I thought that it was about time that I elected myself the Chief K.I.A. (Know-it-all) for Thailand. Done. Modest I aint, I'll clue ya! Have you noticed that people who don't agree with me are always and absolutely wrong. Just a thought. For the record, my favourite pastimes are: patting myself on the back, and blowing my own trumpet. As an expert on everything, anything, and all things, I have come to the conclusion that there are only two ways of doing anything - the Tripe way, and the wrong way. Think about it. You know I'm right. Agreed? As a self-elected old Thailand hand, always looking for an excuse to brag, I thought that it was about time I reminded my readers (yet again) that I know just about everything there is to know about the metropolis, as well as the rest of the kingdom. Hickory dock/I can't find my thomas/Suits you sir/Suits you sir/Now I've found my thomas/Burma-Shave (8.10pm) BMTA - please note: do NOT re-route or change your bus schedules without first consulting me, as I am an authority and expert on these matters. (Another case of TRIPE TOOHAA - Tripe talking out of his arse again.) My email address is oldcodger@hotmail.com I for one like Pratts Gum (an obscure brand of Swahili chewing gum). why doesn't every supermarket in the metropolis stock it, I wonder? You will be pleased to know that Peabody prune-juice is now back in the shops. Last Wednesday, whilst out on my rounds, I went for a shit in the rest-room at Pink Panther bar (Patpong) and noticed that the coat-hooks on the cubicle doors were gone. What's that all about, I wonder? Met a resident in Pratunam during the week, who accused me of talking out of my arse. I farted, told him he was wrong, and farted again. He left, without saying a word. Oh, well. The Tom Toms have it that McDonalds (a US hamburger fast food chain) are coming to the kingdom. More about this as I learn of it. Spotted a hawker peddling barbeque chicken and sticky rice the other day. A good gimmick, but it will NEVER catch on. Had a shit yesterday morning, again in the afternoon, and again 20 minutes after that. Had a shit last night, twice this morning, and 1 hour ago. Yours truly - always having a shit - always talking shit. 'nuff said. BUT, I DON'T GIVE A HOOT!
