spirit_of_town_hall
Hi jp1, Good to hear from you... I respect your view and others views, however I do chat to people in the industry and they echo my views. However most importantly I trust my gut instinct, there is no way women in general are as proficient at piloting a plane as men..... STH
nkped
You have to be pretty capable to fly a passenger jet at all without dying. Don't know how much variation there is in training on emergency procedures from one airline to another and that is probably the critical question. I doubt that being a good Buddhist is detrimental. A born again Christian believes that death is the ticket to heavan, but knew plenty of those guys who flew jets in the military and were probably some of the best pilots in the world (as were the godless whoremongerers in the same squadrons).
