Guest lazyphil
Its getting near the time my mrs can have a British passport--anyway I saw on TV this week to do this she will have to swear an allegiance to the queen and sing the national anthem in some ceremony--I didn't swear to Lizy nor would I ever--I'm not her subject and she can kiss my arse as far as I'm concerned. Over to you. (btw--can a Thai have dual nationality?)
Old Hippie
Not sure on the legalities involved, but it could effect her ability to won property, or aquire any additional property...best to check maybe, and consider all abgles. Guest
Yes, she can have dual nationality. I believe that Thais are one of the groups that can NOT even renouce their citizenship, even if they so desired. Ah, kiss Lizzie's butt, sing Rule Britannia :: then go to the pub and have a pint. It's just a piece of paper .... don't get too serious about it ..... they don't (Stuff to do to get another passport mate.......... now she can go LOTS more places with no visa )
