buddha
A. if you read my post I was questioning whether this should be posted so I really don't need to be reminded that KS has the final word or that you are a mod. "This might be too political also..." if it is too political, if I overstepped anything then lock or erase the thread don't scold me. B.) "Don't really care about the politics involved." That comment was aimed at the politics of the article not of the the board. I am well aware of the rules here.
Guest
So glad to see you are having fun with this. I cannot help but think of a movie I saw last night, called "The Green Mile'. "Dead Man Walking", keeps resonating in my head. Go figure? Listen, the first post to you, was calling you an idiot and a major wanker. I then backed you up immediately. How can you call that shaking my finger at you? Anyway, in the end, you only posted a news blip. Which you are free to do. The problem is, it's of a pure political nature, and is not allowed here. In saying that, I understand the confusion revolving around this. "Politics detirmines the social setting in LOS". So how can we have one, without the other? It's not easy, but for many reasons, we have to make that distiction here. We just have to work around it. And I can also understand that it can be confusing at times. Please try to work with us on this issue, instead of against us. We really have no choice in many of our seemingly arbitrary decisions. Khao jai mai? khunsanuk
Hi, Jezus guys, what the hell is this? One article copied from a newspaper and then a whole bunch of posts discussing / complaining about the board rules. To clarify, I do not mind political articles to be posted here as long as they come from a reputable source and the discussion following them does not contain any political comments (which means that in some cases no comments on a certain article are possible but so be it). So, in this case I have no problem with the original post, but I do get annoyed about the ensuing discussion. Sanuk!

Guest
possible because it is OLD news, now for fresh stuff :: of a more relevent sanuk nature: SOCIAL ORDER CRUSADE Siam Square nightclub shut BANGKOK: -- A leading nightspot in Siam Square was ordered closed for 30 days after one of its customers was found to be underaged, police said yesterday. Deputy Interior Minister Pracha Maleenont led the police raid on CM2, in the basement of Novotel, which is owned by Chiang Mai Thai Rak Thai MP Pornchai Atthapreeyangkoon. There were more than 300 foreigners in the bar at the time. Police said many of them were not carrying passports. Customers' urine was also tested. Police said some showed positive, but it was still not known if this was from illegal drug use or other factors. It was said to be the first raid on nightspots in the area under the government's social order crusade. A police source said the raid followed a report that Russian prostitutes were working in the bar. However, there was no evidence linking Russian tourists who were found there to the sex trade. --Bangkok Post 2004-03-
