ALHOLK
Dave Clark Five wasn't a crap band. They were a great band. I especially love the first line of "Over and Over Again" - "I went to a dance just the other night, EVERYBODY THERE WAS THERE". :bangit:
sayjann
nothing wrong with the Monkees Steve. great songs for Karoake....i always liked this one. 'cheer up Kevin Keegan oh what does it mean to a shite Geordie Manager with a crap football team' sung along to the tune of Daydream Believer. i like Davy Jones, lives near me and see him often in the pub or at the local shops. really nice guy and a pleasure to spend time with. Flashermac
I don't think the US prudes would go for songs like "Please don't burn our shithouse down" or "My grandfather's cock was too long for his jock ..."

Palatkik
Never considered them crap (though others have!) but I have always been keen on the Fall. Including their Fiery Jack track.
was_usvirgin
i like Davy Jones, lives near me and see him often in the pub or at the local shops. When I was a teenager (maybe late '70's), I played footie with him once with the British expat crowd in Hollywood. As I recall, he was a good player and still pretty fast. As for me, I don't know why I was out there - they must have been short of players.

Julian2
I'll give my age away, just watched a Ventures concert on DVD, their 45th Anniversary concert. A couple of those guys make Keef look 21. Anyone think of bands that have been around that long? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ventures
