BadaBing
" You can't live in LA without a celeb story " 1. Birthday party dinner at Carmine's on little santa monica , famous mafiosa hangout in the 70's , next booth over , Dean Martin , all alone and very drunk , sad. 2. Outside the Roxy on sunset , a very drunk Ryan O'neal stumbles right into me , I held him up from falling to the ground and sent him on his merry way , different night , same location , Keith Moon emerges very-very drunk , fell into the back seat of a waiting limo , off he went. 3. Detroit to LAX flight , first class , sat next to Gladys Knight ( no pips insight ) , one of the most sweetest and sincere ladies i've ever met. Other celebs on same flights as me in 1st , ex- VP Walter Mondale , Gary Busey , Samuel Jackson. 4. Asked to pick up some boxes from a customer for overseas shipping , address was on Cielo Drive.. :: ( same street where Charlie Manson's gang ended the life of Sharon Tate ) 5. 1976 , Johnny Carson show , Pat Pulson doing his presidential campaign again , walks up into audience to make a speech , stands right next to me , aisle seat , i'm thinking , " look ma , i'm on national tv " 6. this one's nothing to brag about , dining with " porn-again" steve , Hamburger Hamlet.....yaaaaaaaaaaaaawn... Hmmn, there are so many, :: but the one I'm most proud of has to be the 15 days I spent in Bangkok during the summer of 1997 without consuming a single alcoholic drink. Yup, it was doubles all the way back in those days. I've had to slow down a fair bit since then, fucked-up liver and all that. jack
pattaya127
Dean Martin , all alone and very drunk , sad. ------------------------- same happened to a friend of mine in London, during the queen's jubilee. In his hotel, he spots this big frame having problem to stand up, alone in the Bfast room. The guy is drunk out of his wits. My friend, young then, thinks he recognizes the guy, gets close to him, yes that was him..... John Wayne!

Hi phil, In my case it was John Smith when he was leader of the Labour party. I didn't engage him in conversation. That's about it as far as I can recall. pattaya127
Memories are coming back: I was walking down the Champs Elysees with my buddy some 30 years ago, when 2 guys rushed by us, stopping us with their arms, and quickly entered a vehicle. I wondered aloud "who are these assholes?" and my friend said: "that was Alain Delon and his bodyguard". We looked where they were coming from and there was a theater where his latest movie opened up that night. Well, I know Jean-Paul (belmondo, not II ) would have made a cooler exit. 2 years ago, in Chinatown, chinese New Year, me and the GF were also 2 bodyguards away from PM Thaksin. No brush off this time. PS: I wish to correct Rmorris addendum a few posts ago when he mentionned to mutiply all the girls names by 5. I had him on the phone afterwards and he meant : divide by 5!
