limbo
Japanese and they will not be iced (if possible). With Chang I don't mind icing, neither with the Heini's. Some beers are too good to water down tho, and Asahi is amongst them. Anybody ever put ice in Weizen beer?
Pom Michael
New Beer out in Bangkok, Archer Beer. Any one know anything about it? Have seen it only in one place so far, near Patpong. Cheers!
Zaad
Yep, tried Archer beer and it's ok, Nothing special I think. But nice to have a growing selection. Also Tiger beer now available in the supermarket Tiger is very good but has a somewhat soft after taste IMO, which makes it a good beer for a night out. Won't drink it at home though. MaiLuk
>>With the advent of Beer Chang (now best selling beer, 70% of the market), Thais put ice in it to make it weaker<< I would rather drink antifreeze then watered down beer. I do like beer chang. Anheiser Busch products here in the US are the foulest products ever devised. So is heinekin imo. Best beer in the US that is reasonably available: Anchor Steam and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.
MaiLuk
>>Generally as far as beer goes inThailand,it sucks.<< The severe and permanent beer drought that plagues thailand has caused me to discover johnnie walker black. Time will tell if this is a good thing
krml
Give me a Sam Adams, Bass Ale, Newcastle, or a Blackened Voodoo. The only way I can drink Chang is if it is filled with ice to try an drown the taste. It also depends how much I have had to drink too.
