Ranger
Once Upon a Time in America. Saw the original 4 hour version while in Tokyo in 1984 and have probably seen it 5 times since then. The studio made Sergio Leone edit it down to 2 1/2 hours for American release and it ruined the movie. Robert Deniro and James Woods at their best and a very young Jennifer Connelly. Be sure to get the 229 minute version if you rent or buy the DVD. Ranger

Uthai
ONCE UPON A TIME IN AMERICA........is a phenomenal film and one of my favorites. Another favorite is MY NAME IS NOBODY, starring Henry Fonda. Fonda plays an aging gunslinger. I loved the musical scores from both movies. So, many years after my first viewing I went online and downloaded the soundtracks for both movies only to discover that both soundtracks were written by ENNIO MORICONE(What a talent that guy is) and after checking the credits both movies are directed by Sergio Leone

Belem
City of God is an excellent movie. The best movie I saw last year was Maria Full Of Grace . It was filmed in Columbia(it has English subtitles) and is about a girl who takes a job as a drug mule transporting drugs to the US. Awesome movie! Prosal
Belem Thanks for the link, this seems to be a good movie, not yet arrived here yet. I'll wait for it. I personnaly like this kind of south american productions, like The motocycle diaries, which was a good road movie. Cheers
