Palatkik
Anyone know what the red and white text ads are for? There seem to be a mixture of them around town saying No Laughing, No Fun or No Smiling all in Thai. I asked the GF if we had entered a No Fun Zone but she started laughing so that cannot be it. Palatkik
Well very disappointing indeed. Think I'll boycott Suzuki with ads like this.
khunsanuk
Hi, Don't think I saw any of them in Thai, but I think you may be refering to the big sign close to Asoke intersection (it is in English though). No idea what the deal is with them eiher. Sanuk!
..
Actually it said "Sanuk Mai Dee" in Thai in the upper LH corner. I thought it may be the new party slogan for TRT Yeah, it turns out that they are for Suzuki motorcycles. Yeah KS, the big one was near Sukhumvit and soi 16 (Asoke). I missed the chance to get a photo of the one at a bus stop in front of Meree Massage place (the one with the 2-story photos of girls). Would have been really funny cuz the shot I was going for would show the "Do Not Enjoy/Sanuk Mai Dee" billboard with the full-on sparkly/neon-y massage parlor and the pix of the gals. Oh well. Damn. Cheers, SD
