frogpatrol
Here is a complete list of the prize (1,000 Baht) league. Can't imagine that only 5 people paid to racha (plus two w/ PM)? kman
I'll be there with the 1k I owe for the pot plus 1 bottle of Scotch for the lucky punter who finishes ??? in the league. Dunno about a venue but would agree with Froggo that maybe we should take pass on the Londoner. The place on 33 where we watched the North London last year would've been alright if the bloody sound had worked .. I'm sure you'll come up with an excellent choice of venue tho' PM .. Cheers K. Well, they did sort the sound out because I watched a game there with Racha later on. If it happened to coincide with a pool party ..... Over to Suadum for any info he might have on that one? ..
That is a good choice actually. The TV is a bit small (42" plasma, I think), but the environment is great. My friend who was managing it has left now, but no big deal. The sound problem was just an opening day jitter kinda thing. Unfortunately, their pool parties are held during the week to pump up slow biz days, which Saturday is not. The website seems to not be current. frogpatrol
May be a plan? Worst case we could always just walk down the street to the Londoner if we are not satisfied. Not sure about Gullivers. Suppose that might be an option as well. May chjeck it out tonight. Some say the Ramada Inn on Surawong is great, but I imagine getting all the Sukhumviters over that way would be problematic. Pom Michael
Well, checked out Absolute on Soi 7/1 but it is not a spot to watch the football game. Gullivers tonight was packed, also think it isn't a good spot. So it looks like Livingstone's on Soi 33 by default! Cheers
frogpatrol
Is Livingstons the same place as we used to go to eat the African food. Place with the big pool? Sounds like it. If so, it's a good option as we can always bail and skip to the Londoner if need be. How do we reserve that room, Pommer? Do you know the manager? froggo
