Give away free Swiss passports? Allowed to play with 10 men? Or two goalies perhaps? nothing from that, just a young team with good players. (a younger team as our great team on the last Olympic Games) but anyway, this year, Russia will take the title.

The first period was marred by angry fans littering the ice--after the eighth penalty was called against the Latvians--and the third period featured more littering and a plea on the public address system by a Latvian player for peace so the game could be completed. - Russia came alive in the third period to manhandle Ukraine 6-0 after only scoring once in the first 40 minutes. Russia now sits at the top of the Group F standings with six points. Ukraine has zero.
Mentors
from the official site: So far, Slovakia has had just one solid game from start to finish in this tournament, and that came against Kazakhstan. The Bratislava boys need to find a new level quickly versus a surprisingly tough Swiss squad. If you're one of those hockey rednecks that loves to mock the "Swiss Misses" for their supposedly tame, wimpy play, then you obviously haven't seen an international game involving Switzerland in the last five years. "We used to have troubles playing physical teams, but now it's us that gives other teams problems with our physical play," Swiss captain Mark Streit told IHWC.NET. Yes, the Swiss have become a robust bunch, both physically and mentally, and that was visible in their comeback 4-4 tie with Sweden and tight-checking wins over Ukraine and Italy. Clearly, their victories over Canada and the Czechs at the Turin Olympics weren't mere flukes. today games CZE - NOR SUI - SVK FIN - USA SWE - BLR results Relegation from today: Slovenia - Denmark 3:3 Italy - Kazhakstan 3:2 after 1. round 1. Mentors
and here - all results from tonight Group E Norway - Finland 0:3 Canada -Czechia 4:6 ranking after 4 of 5 games 1. Finland 7 * 2. Canada 6 * 3. Czechia 6 * 4. USA 4 * ------------------- 5. Latvia 1 6. Norway 0 Finland, Canada, Czechia and USA already qualified for the 1/4 final, now they have to play for the best position to start! - The Canadian team was overcharged against Czechia. - No problem for Finland to win against Norway. Group F Russia - Switzerland 6:3 Slovakia - Sweden 5:2 ranking after 4 of 5 games 1. Russia 8 * 2. Sweden 5 3. Belarus 4 4. Switzerland 4 -------------------- 5. Slovakia 3 6. Ukraine 0 just Russia already qualified. - The Russian team was to 'cold blooded' against my brave, but bit tired looking Suisse team. - Surprised that Sweden lost against the awaken Slovakia today, this makes it for my team more difficult to qualify, we have to beat Belarus on Tuesday. Sweden must play against Russia tomorrow. Slovakia seems to have the easiest way, they can play against the unlucky Ukraine team.
