Hey

looking for some advice here ( obviously)

Trying to cook my HP PDA up to my cellphone so I can get use internet explorer on it.

I have connect the two devices together through Bluetooth. I have also set up GPRS on the phone.

The PDA is asking for a dial up number/ login/password. Do I have to buy a internet package or can I just use GPRS? Any ideas.

BTW I use one to call from AIS

Sorry, meant to answer in this thread long time ago but forgot about it....

Anyhow. No, you neither need an ISP or a log in. Use of GPRS is dependent on the GPRS settings for each country and network service provider. If you search around a bit on Internet, you will probably be able to find out

a) how to hook up your HP to Internet while

B) using Thailand specific GPRS settings

For the latter, the settings for AIS (i.e. the information you need to specify on your PDA to connect to) is the following:

Network provider: AIS

APN name: internet

Phone number: *99***2#

Leave user name and password blank (there is none on AIS, and many other networks, since you're billed on your phone subscription)

Good luck!
